Bossier Parish Community College is a two-year community college with an enrollment in its academic division of approximately 7,000 students. The College provides courses that transfer to four-year degree granting institutions and awards the associate of arts and science degrees in business administration, care and development of young children, communication media, computer information systems, construction technology and management, criminal justice, cyber technology, engineering, industrial technology, healthcare management, general science, general studies, medical assistant, occupational therapy assistant, oil and gas production technology, paramedic, pharmacy technician, physical therapist assistant, respiratory therapy, nursing, teaching, and performing arts.
Positions at Bossier Parish Community College are filled via qualified applicants registered via Louisiana Department of Civil Service LA Careers. If applicable, applicants must successfully pass an appropriate written test, as well as typing skills test. Annual College Safety and Security Report
BPCC announces that the BPCC Annual College Safety and Security Report has been submitted as mandated by the Jeanne Clery Act of 1990 and The Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA). This report contains policy statements and crime statistics for the College. Included in the report are crime statistics for 2018, 2019, and 2020. Policy statements in the report include but are not limited to Violent Outbreak on Campus, Weapons, Active Shooter, Major Disaster Plan, Emergency Notification System, Missing or Endangered Persons, Sexual Harassment, Hazing, the Alcohol and Drug Free Campus Policy, Crisis Intervention and Referral, Crime Prevention Tips and Title IX.
